Tony, how's it goin' brah. For that much scruff a DE would have been a much better choice especially a DOC (double open comb) razor like the Ascension from PAA (Phoenix shaving). That razor would have knocked that growth down like it wasn't there and the DOC design is pretty clog proof and easily rinses clean. Thanks for this video and pitting these two TITANS of the cartridge shaving world against each other. This is a good video, especially for those who use cartridge razors. As for me, DE is the only way to go.

No. They don’t fit because of the bar insert.

Did each razor have a single trimmer on the cartridge? Wonder if you could cut some of the beard..be a nice test. Regards!
The SHAVELOGIC doesn’t have the precision trimmer on the back of the cart.

how many times you gonna approve the Gillette razor? 5 blades is way too many blades on a razor and unnecessary just causes irritation the more passes you do
Have you tried it?
If you go with and across the growth you will not have irritation issues. What you need is the right lather to cushion your facial skin from the 5 blades whilst being efficient in removing stubble. Try a sensitive skin shave gel and lather into a rich thick foam that is wet. Run across the tap after each stroke.
@@misterlexx2721 theres a reason why Gillette have gone back to 2 blade razor with skin guard. They will prob do same with the labs razor once they switch people onto this cost cutting cartridge design. ruthless marketing company... this youtuber on their pay roll.Literally all razor give a clean shave this dude approves nearly every razor on the market
@@hassyg4083 Thin Skin guard doesn't give me a close shave. A thick slick lather actually guards your skin from the blades.

With such big beard,best will be to use Gillete Mach 3,because it's a larger distance between a blades than with 5 blade razors...in 5 blade razors big hairs stacking easily between a blades...which make little difficult shaving with such big beard...but ok,I know that you are doing this for subscribers...🙂
